We-Wilding

(Launched 2021)

Launched early 2021 by Vickie Amiralis & Anna Redwood. We-Wilding is an artist led project aiming to raise awareness of re-wilding and nature conservation activities around the UK. The aim is to shine a light on small and large scale projects, highlighting what is being done, why, and what the effects are. The project is shown through a series of art installations and also documentary style films that are currently in production. Both mediums include narrative and facts learnt from practicing individuals and groups. We share their activities, and key events that occur, with the hope of educating viewers whilst we educate ourselves. Events and discussions so far have concerned; city bug houses, bee-keeping in city, rural and wild landscapes, lynx cats, farming regulations, dawn chorus and eels..
